Extreme Weather World Records

Here's your chance to watch the video we saw in class again about the world records. Remember to use your portfolio to be able to convert from the imperial system to the metric system. To learn about the imperial system click here. To read about the metric system we use in Europe, click here.

And finally, here are some weather jokes . . .

What does a cloud wear under his raincoat?
Thunderwear!

Why did the woman go outdoors with her purse open?
Because she expected some change in the weather.

What’s the difference between weather and climate?
You can’t weather a tree, but you can climate.

What happens when it rains cats and dogs?
You have to be careful not to step in a poodle.

What did the hurricane say to the other hurricane?
I have my eye on you.
